With waste water there is a corresponding increase in biological, chemical and physical loads on the concrete structures in these facilities. MC-RIM systems were specially developed for the protection of reinforced concrete in waste water structures. The performance of these systems is impressive because of their high chemical resistance and extremely low porosity. MC-RIM’s properties permit water-vapour diffusion, slows carbonation, are impervious to chlorides and are sulphate-resistant.
