Water treatment facilities are valuable assets which have to meet the demands of a growing population. The increase of consumption places ever-rising demands on the drinking water and waste water industries. With waste water there is a corresponding increase in biological, chemical and physical loads on the concrete structures in these facilities. To repair and protect these concrete structures in vulnerable areas, Concrete Solutions® use MC-RIM and MC-Ombran range of products which are which is able to meet all technical standards and requirements and has done so for more than 25 years.
MC-RIM systems were specially developed for the protection of reinforced concrete in waste water structures. The performance of these systems is impressive because of their high chemical resistance and extremely low porosity. MC-RIM's properties permit water-vapour diffusion, slows carbonation, are impervious to chlorides and are sulphate-resistant.
